West Blvd Ministry is blessed to partner with Dilworth Little League this season. WBM will put on the Home Run Derby during the closing ceremonies of the league in June, as well as coordinate an upcoming coat drive. We have been deeply grateful to be a part of DLL family through the years and look forward to partnering more in the future. Stay tuned for more details!
West Blvd Ministry would like to thank the students and families @ Charlotte Latin School. Their “Coat Drive”, organized by the Student Service Council, collected over 200 coats for our 2nd Annual Coats & Cookout Event that will be held in October for families within the West Blvd corridor. #HawksSoar
Date: April 6th & 7th (Friday & Saturday)
The 1st Annual “Spring Break Dayz” Event for children and families throughout the West Blvd corridor was a huge success. West Blvd Ministry partnered with HO Graham Presbyterian Church as we we’re blessed to have “2” days of fun and fellowship.
Most importantly, we would like to give glory and praise to our King Jesus Christ for the opportunity to love on our community. Also,we would like to take a moment to thank all of the volunteers from WBM and HOGPC. Talk about a TEAM effort !
Please visit the Spring Break Fun Dayz Gallery for pictures from this event!

Roby Family Food Drive – West Blvd Ministry
Grateful for the “Roby Family Food Drive” that will serve families within our community. Team Roby continues to work in partnership with West Blvd Ministry to make a positive impact throughout the West Blvd corridor. The Roby Food Drive stocked the shelves of the West Blvd Ministry Food Bank.
To date the Food Bank has served over 900 individuals, distributing over 14,500 food units. As we head into May the focus will be healthy options for our families, due in large part to our new partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.
Please reach out if you’re interested in organizing a Company Food Drive. God bless!

Today marks another “VICTORY” for Jesus Christ. One of our families moved into their new home this morning. God’s divine appointment has been fulfilled due to much prayer and effort. We all have been in a place before where we needed to be led through the darkness into the light and an opportunity for a fresh start.
Grateful for all of the West Blvd Ministry Team members for their prayers, hard work and support in giving a beautiful family of “9” a home they can call their own. West Blvd Ministry will continue to walk with as well as pour into the family.
Please visit the “WBM Family Move In Day” Gallery for photo’s from this great day!
Saturday, March 10
The West Blvd Ministry Team, with over 30 volunteers, brought the light of Christ to a home off Freedom Drive. We united to start turning a house into a home for a family that WBM has walked with for 6 months.
The volunteers worked alongside the family as we raked leaves, trimmed bushes and cleaned out the house from the previous tenant. The day gave us an opportunity to not only pray as a group before the start of the day, but also to lay hands on the family as we lifted them up. The day was a blessing to all those involved. More news to come as we look forward to move in day.
WBM had their first Board of Directors meeting of 2018 at the office to discuss recent success stories, upcoming opportunities and needs to continue to serve our clients and the general mission of West Blvd Ministry.
We have huge goals for 2018! We are excited how God will provide.
Andrew Roby came out in full force ready to provide much needed help around the grounds of WBMs office space at University Memorial Baptist Church.
Patrick, Trent and other members of the Charlotte team served in a variety of capacities helping revitalize the buildings and grounds. We’re excited for this partnership as we continue to work towards real change in West Boulevard.
This Thursday night, like others, Bart and a few volunteers take time to pour into and mentor a handful of young men for a couple of hours.
Reading books together, playing group games (like BINGO!) and basketball and catching up on life personally are all part of the evening’s activities. WBM wants to see young men partnered with mentors and other familiar faces where trust, accountability, and development are purposefully focused on and relationships are given grounds to flourish.
It is in walking alongside these boys (and their parents) that we see bonds created that lead to changed lives.
Contact Bart if you are interested in serving along with us.
